This past week our London Classic Yearling Sale team paid a visit to Allstar Farms in Millbank, Ontario. Operated by the father-son team of Ken and Nathan Albrecht - they took the ‘Al’ from their last name and added the ‘lstar’ to come up with the prefix ‘Allstar’ for their babies dating back to 2020.

Unstable Genius (previously named D A Mindcraft) broke his maiden in his first career pari-mutuel start, winning the lone $150,000 Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Gold Series Leg 1 event for two-year-old trotting colts on Monday (July 6) in 1:54.2 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
LCYS Graduate ANNIES DIVA Matches Track Record At Grand River
The effort was a career best for Annies Diva who has won four of 17 lifetime. Susanne Mac Keigan of Albert Bridge, N.S. owns the daughter of Cattlewash-Triple Charm who has banked $35,015 lifetime.
Yearling Spotlight: Century Spring Farms
The London Classic Yearling Sale team recently paid a visit to the picturesque property of Century Spring Farms, in Northern Huron Country - about a 90-minute drive north of London. The farm has been owned and operated by the Zimmerman family for many decades and what was once a dairy farm and standardbred breeding operation became a hands-on commercial broodmare facility, in 2005, for the husband and wife team of Sanford and Jan Zimmerman.
