The Carrs family meeting up with the broodmares and babies of Erinwood Equine.
Members of the London Classic Yearling Sale team took a recent road-trip to visit another fabulous farm that will be selling a good number of yearlings, this Fall, in the Forest City of Ontario. It was clearly horse country with many standardbred yearlings, race horses, broodmares and their babies - along with some retirees and saddle horses too… It appears there’s a horse for everyone at Erinwood Equine.
Established in 2017 and located in Rockwood, Ontario - often referred to as the Kentucky of Canada - Erinwood Equine is dedicated to raising quality Standardbred yearlings for the commercial market.
Standardbred beauty was on full display this day…
The babies of Erinwood Equine were so friendly and eager to follow us around, in the field, but the protective broodmares still kept a close eye on things.
LCYS Manager Greg Blanchard found some four-legged friends.
Erinwood Equine has 27 yearlings selling at the LCYS of 2026… A closer look now at just a few, of those prospects, that have Farm Manger Andrew Carrs excited as his team prepares to have all things in place for a strong showing on our sale dates of October 13-14 in London.
